French lessons with Alliance Francaise
[A French lesson in progress]
"Bonjour" that is hello in Fench. Our teachers were all natives of France. We learned how to say hello, goodbye, please and thank you.
"S'il-vous-plaít" is please and "Merci" is thank-you. We learned the days of the week, months and counting from 1-20.
The French teacher taught us how to say our names and to tell others a little about ourselves. We did exercises on animals and food. We also learned how to say the date. We did these sessions in school on Wednesdays at 3:10pm.
In the French sessions we learned to talk about food we like and dislike .
When the sessions first started we learned how to say our names , our class and to say the date in French
Some French phrases :
Je m'apelle Michel = My Name is Michael
J'habite á Athlone = I live in Athlone
J'ai onze ans =I am 11 years of age
J'aime le pizza et les frites =I like pizza and chips
Je n'aime pas le spaghetti = I dislike spagetti
